Baby in a hole!

Matt’s family has this tradition of going to Interstate Park and putting the children in glacial potholes. So this past Saturday we did that.

Aglet has a baba! (Legally, I mean.)

For various process based reasons, I adopted Aglet as a single parent, and then we came home and Matt and I got married, and then Matt filed to adopt Aglet. He has obviously been Aglet’s dad since day one, but now we have filed with the state to say so. Whew! Good to have that done. Here we are, with our lawyer, the judge, Aunt Abby who works a block from the courthouse and scooted over, and the three of us. Aglet picked his own beautiful outfit.

It is now in the hands of those nice uscis people in Texas. (I do mean nice; they listen to a lot of people cry.)
