We packed up, stopped at the orphanage to pick up the Aglet’s passport, and went to the airport. We got our luggage checked, and said goodbye to Vivian, who was our awesome Hangzhou guide. Then, we had lunch at KungFu! I have no idea what it was, but it was pretty tasty.
The flight was pretty uneventful other than being delayed for an hour and during naptime. The second was worse than the first. Why is the world not scheduled around toddler naptime?
We got to the hotel about 8 pm or so, at which point Matt got us McDonald’s for dinner, and Aglet decided he’d had a very long upsetting day and would like to lodge a protest with his shop steward, now please. Then, sleeping for everyone!
We are at the garden hotel (Beijing was actually the peace hotel, I was wrong) and the breakfast here is awesome. FYI.
